Who you gonna call?
I think that being constantly connected to the internet this day and age is both a very good and a very bad thing in its own ways. It can be bad because most people are constantly distracted by their cell phones, and sometimes they ma have their nose in their phone while they are driving down the street or at work. One of the worst things about smart phones would be the fact that people do some of their shopping on their phones, so their information including credit card numbers, addresses, ect. are on the phone, and if the phone is lost, stolen or hacked into that info an easily be stolen. I also think that cell phones do affect us socially because most people do not have very good social skills because they are used to communicating through cell phones. Some people do not know how to communicate well in person because they normally communicate with others through phones, social networking sites, or email.

Im Counting On You
This whole thing is ridiculous. In my opinion I do not
believe that teachers should be payed based on a student’s performance, which is
over the top. If a teacher is getting payed on a student’s test results, then
it puts more pressure on the students to do better. Also, if the student
doesn't do well on the test, then it is not always the teachers fault? The
student could be lazy, or the student may have not gotten as much sleep the
night before as they should of. There are multiple reasons why the student my
not do well on test, but the big question is, what would a teacher do if there
pay dropped because of some lazy students? They could easily lose their temper
a go off on a student. For this reason, I do not think that a teacher should be
payed based on a student’s performance.

Who needs our help most?
I think that with the funds we are sending to Africa, we should use here in our own area, but still send some money. We should support ourselves much more than we do everyone else so that we can all live happier lives. If we switched positions with Africa, you must consider, and think, would they really help us? If we were in their position personally I don't think that they would help us out. Also, if we helped ourselves more right now than we are everyone else, then once we built our economy up, and got most people off the streets, then maybe we would be able to support them with more? Maybe that amount of people that we helped off of the streets would make a difference and it could change another's life! But in order to get into this position, we must help ourselves first, we have needs too, and we need to look at them and do something about it.
I believe that love is one of the most powerful feelings a person can have. Love can be a feeling and a choice. It could be a feeling that is the strongest thing you may experience. Love is a strong word, and I don't think it should be used unless it is really meant, and someone really is in love. But, on the other hand, love isn't just a feeling for someone, but it can also be a feeling for a certain thing, such as a certain item, or a pet. Love can be expressed in so many different ways too, and the way you express your love for someone or something is always going to be different. Marriages shouldn't be based on love, but somewhat based on it. Marriages need love, but not just love, they need trust, dedication, and strength.

The Dumbest Generation
I don't think that it is logical to call our generation the dumbest generation just because we get through life easier. Truthfully, in my opinion, I believe that this generation is much smarter than any earlier generations. Reason being is because when my parents see what I am doing in the 10th grade they tell me that they wasn't doing the work that I am doing until they were in college, or high school. For instance I have a younger brother in 5th grade that is already learning some basic algebra. So my answer is no, just because we are the "Technological age" doesn’t mean that we are dumber than earlier generations. And the comment about us being lazier than others, that may be somewhat true. Are generation would die if we had to mow a lawn with nothing but a push mower. And some would not be able to work in a store of any type because they can’t do math very well.

To Speak or Not to Speak
This whole case is completely blown out of proportion, in my
eyes; I see that he is being looked at the wrong way. We have a Freedom of
Speech, as shown in the constitution, and I think that this should apply here.
Was what the coach said wrong of him? Yes, it was very wrong, and he should
feel ashamed of himself for saying what was said. I also believe that because he has a freedom of speech, he should not be punished for what he said, and he should not get punished nearly as hard as he has. I don't think the suspension should be as long, and should be much shorter than what it is now.
